It should be noted that the electric soldering iron should be anti-static, and the maintenance personnel must also prepare anti-static measures (such as wearing electrostatic rings and anti-static gloves).
2. Continuous high temperature: LED and FPC are the two main components of LED light strip. If FPC is continuing high temperature or exceeds its acceptance measurement, it will cause the cover film of FPC to crack, and indirectly lead to the scrapping of LED light strip. At the same time, LED can not withstand high temperature for a long time, and its chip will be burned by high temperature. Therefore, the electric soldering iron used for repairing the LED light strip is a temperature control electric soldering iron, which limits the measurement to a certain range and prevents arbitrary changes and settings. In addition, even so, it is also necessary to note that the electric soldering iron cannot stop at the LED foot position for more than 10 seconds during maintenance. If it exceeds a certain time, the LED chip will be burned.
3. Short circuit: Many LED light strips do not light up because there is a short circuit at the feet. Before maintenance, you must investigate the real reason why they do not light up. Otherwise, after hastily changing the LED that is not lit, the chip that forms the LED will be broken down by short circuit DC when the power is returned again. Therefore, in advance, we must first find the real reason why there is no light, and then we can get half the result with twice the effort. Reasons for not lighting up
1. The packaging protection of LED flexible light strip is not perfect, resulting in damage to the lamp beads due to impact during transportation.
2. The solder joint of LED flexible light strip has a false solder joint. The vibration during transportation causes the solder joint to fall off, causing the light strip to not light up.
3. LED flexible light strip has less soldering tin, and solder joints are easy to fall off
4. The soldering tin quality of LED flexible light strip is poor, and the solder joints of LED flexible light strip are easy to crack and fall off during bending
5. The bending angle of the LED flexible light strip is too large during installation, which causes the LED flexible light strip solder joint to separate from the copper foil, causing it to not light up
6. During the installation of the LED flexible light strip, the product is excessively squeezed, causing the chip of the LED flexible light strip to be damaged or the solder joint to be deformed and fall off and not light up
7. The solder mask layer of LED flexible light strip PCB is too thick, so the solder and PCB cannot be completely integrated during welding, which is also a phenomenon of faulty soldering.
8. The LED flexible light strip shall not be twisted during installation. If it is twisted, the solder joints of the LED flexible light strip will fall off, resulting in no light.
9. The static electricity is burnt out. Because LED is a static sensitive element, if the static electricity protection measures are not taken, the chip will be burnt out
Quality identification method
The LED light strip market is mixed, and the prices of products from regular manufacturers and those from shanzhai manufacturers are very different. If we identify the quality of LED light strips from a professional perspective, I'm afraid many customers do not have this ability. But we can make a preliminary identification from the simple appearance, and basically distinguish the quality.
It can be identified mainly from the following aspects:
1. Look at the solder joints. The LED light strips produced by regular LED light strip manufacturers are produced with solder paste and reflow soldering using SMT chip technology. Therefore, the solder joints on the LED light strip are smooth and the amount of solder is not much. The solder joints extend from the FPC pad to the LED electrode in an arc shape.
2. Check the FPC quality. FPC is divided into copper coating and calendered copper. The copper foil of the copper coating plate is protruding, which can be seen from the connection between the bonding pad and FPC. The calendered copper is closely connected with FPC and can be bent at will without pad falling off. If the copper clad plate is bent too much, the pad will fall off, and if the temperature is too high during maintenance, the pad will also fall off.
3. Check the cleanliness of the surface of the LED light strip. The surface of the LED light strip produced by SMT process is very clean, and no impurities and stains can be seen. The fake LED light strip produced by hand welding process will leave stains and cleaning marks on its surface no matter how it is cleaned.
4. Look at the package. Regular LED light strips will be packed in anti-static reels, 5 meters or 10 meters, and sealed with anti-static and moisture-proof packaging bags. The counterfeit LED light strip adopts the recycled reel without anti-static and moisture-proof packaging bag. A careful look at the reel shows that there are traces and scratches left when the label is removed.
5. Look at the label. The regular LED lamp with packaging bag and reel will have printed labels, not printed labels.
6. See the attachment. Regular LED light strips will be attached with instructions and specifications in the packaging box, and LED light strip connectors or card holders will also be equipped; However, the counterfeit LED light with these accessories is not in the packaging box, because some manufacturers can save money after all.

1. The requirements for brightness are different for different occasions and different products. For example, if LED jewelry cabinet table lamps are placed in some large shopping malls, we should have higher brightness to be attractive, and the same decorative role also includes LED spotlights and LED colorful light strips and other different products.
2. Antistatic ability: LED with strong anti-static ability has a long life, but the price will be higher. Generally, the anti-static voltage should be higher than 700V.
3. The LED with the same wavelength and color temperature will have the same color, which is particularly important for the lamps combined in large quantities. Do not have too much color difference in the same lamp.
4. The leakage current is the current when the LED conducts in reverse. We recommend using LED products with smaller leakage current.
5. The waterproof capacity is different for outdoor and indoor LED lights.
6. The LED lighting angle has a great impact on LED lamps and requires a lot of different lamps. For example, we recommend using 140-170 degrees for LED fluorescent lamps. For others, we will not explain them in detail here.
7. LED chips determine the core quality of LED. There are many brands of LED chips, including foreign brands and those in Taiwan, China. The prices of different brands vary greatly.
8. The LED chip size also determines the LED quality and brightness. We also try to choose a larger chip, but the price will be correspondingly higher.

3、 Operating Steps
1. Check whether the lampshade, lamp strip and various supporting parts and accessories are complete;
2. According to the length of the counter, process the lampshade to cut the matching length, and then process the 45 ° chamfer at both ends
