Three wiring methods of LED light strip are as follows.
1. The first installation method of light strip
The first step is to determine whether the installed light strip or LED light strip uses high voltage or low voltage electricity (considering the safety of electricity, choose the light strip started by low voltage electricity). After selecting the low voltage LED light strip, you need to first observe that there are two dots for every three lamp beads on the light strip, and then weld the line to the dots.
2. The second installation method of light strip
First of all, the lamp beads are connected in series with a number of resistors. This is a 12V DC power supply lamp strip. Directly connect the two output lines of the 12V DC power supply (either voltage stabilized or non voltage stabilized) to the positive and negative terminals of the lamp strip, and then plug the power plug into the household AC power socket. You can also directly drive this lamp strip with a 12V battery pack.
3. The third installation method of light strip
First of all, the lamp strips with all the lamp beads connected in series need to be equipped with a capacitor ballast type constant current driver (there is also a better switch type constant current driver, which is suitable for driving low-voltage lamp strips). Press the two pins of the driver plug to the positive and negative poles, respectively insert them into the wire core of the lamp with two leads, and then insert the driver power plug into the 220 volt AC power socket at home.
Requirements for installation environment of light strip or LED light strip
1. When LED light strips are used outdoors, they will be eroded by rain and ultraviolet light. If they are fixed with 3M adhesive, the 3M adhesive will be reduced for a long time, which will cause the LED light strips to fall off. Therefore, the installation of outdoor LED soft light strips often adopts the way of slot fixing.
2. Where cutting and connection are required, the method is the same as that for indoor installation, except that waterproof glue is additionally provided to consolidate the waterproof effect of the connection point.
